Our History and Commitment

The name of our institution is Edurise which is the blend of two words- ‘Education’ and ‘Rise’; altogether it means Rise of Education. Our full effort is to contribute to the uplift of education in the true sense. The foundation of Edurise was envisaged on the day of the realization of the utter need of quality education in our locality ‘Mithilanchal’ where a number of students are bereft of it. Though there are plenty of institutes promising for the same, there it seems quite less on the practical ground.

We foster quality education to ample students of our society who migrate from their native areas to strange and hostile areas in search of getting quality education. We know if students are nurtured in the presence of both parents and teachers together, good and effective outcome can be obtained for them in future. We are in your locality to avail quality as well as contented service at very low fee of service which can be afforded by any class of people of our society. We ensure you that we will always be firm to our commitment to win the hearts and good will of our students and parents as well. We impart what any other institutes cannot even imagine. Our active effort to make our students perfect human beings is incredible. We not only provide bookish knowledge to our students but also moral education to make them civilized and well cultured on an ethical ground.

Our commitment is to provide globally best and equal service to all our students without any discrimination of religion, cast, creed, etc. and also to make the guardians or parents to feel proud enough of leaving their children under our sole care. We make them feel like being at home. The aim behind establishing this Organisation has always been to provide a holistic education that enables growth, optimism, hard work and an all round development with a better understanding of the cultural, moral and social contexts of one’s lives.

There is no denial to the need for quality education in India. Only a literate, critically thinking young population will be able to ensure a balanced and sustainable growth in the country. Schools are the primary platform for delivering this.

English Language in this age of globalization is essential today. English language is the most important language of communication between different countries. The U.N. has recognized five languages as its official languages and of them English takes the first position because of its background, international acclaim of easy access to the people.

If we go back to historical facts, we see that half of the globe was under the British imperialism. Those countries coming directly under British rule had by necessity or under compulsion to learn English and the rest either being influenced by the English culture or to keep pace with modern trend had but to opt for learning it.

In our country English is important for a number of reasons. India is a land of diversity. Different people speak different languages. A person of Tamil Nadu does not speak Hindi. So he can't understand Hindi of a person from North India. However he can understand in English.

English is a link language. Different people can communicate with one another with the help of English. English has evolved to be a language of medicine, science and technology. The results of the latest researches come to India through the medium of English. Majority of all important books for higher studies are written in English.

If we give up English, we will lag behind in the higher fields of study. It becomes necessary for we Indians to know English otherwise we shall cut ourselves off from the world knowledge. The common practice all over the world in the modern age is to learn English language to facilitate easy understanding of political, social, cultural and religious issues because this language is easier than any other language.

English has emerged as the most important global language. It is an international language. It is a wrong view to hold that it is a language of the British alone. The Indians must not keep their eyes closed in this adventurous period of globalization. Today the world has become one family. It is all due to English.

English is the language of the Constitution, the Supreme Court, the High Courts and official departments. Now, English is firmly rooted in the soil of India. It has become a part of Indian life. English has great importance for the integrity of India. It has to be second language in our country for the better development of the country.

Literature is part of human life that is passed from generation to generation and describes the culture of a country. If we want to study a language, of course, we must also know the culture of the country. Literature provides pleasure to listeners and readers. It is a relaxing escape from daily problems, and it fills leisure moments. It builds experience. Children expand their horizons through vicarious experiences. They visit new places, gain new experiences, and meet new people. They learn about the past as well as the present and learn about a variety of cultures, including their own. They discover the common goals and similar emotions found in people of all times and places.

Literature provides a language model for those who hear and read it. Good literature exposes children to correct sentence patterns, standard story structures, and varied word usage. Children for whom English is a second language can improve their English with the interesting context, and all children benefit from new vocabulary that is woven into the stories. It develops thinking skills. Discussions of literature bring out reasoning related to sequence; cause and effect; character motivation; predictions; visualization of actions, characters, and settings; critical analysis of the story; and creative responses.

Literature supports all areas of the language arts curriculum. The chapter-opening classroom vignette shows how literature brings together all of the language arts. Listening to stories provides opportunities for honing listening skills, and discussion allows children to express their thoughts, feelings, and reactions. When students read literature, they are practicing their comprehension strategies in meaningful situations. Young writers may use various genres of literature as models for their own writing and literature can be the basis for creative dramatics. Children can find stories to read and puzzles to solve on the Internet, and the computer can serve as a word processor for creating stories of their own.
Literature helps children deal with their problems. By finding out about the problems of others through books, children receive insights into dealing with their own problems, a process called bibliography.

Multicultural literature helps readers value people from different races, ethnic groups, and cultures. Excellent, well-illustrated books are available for many cultural groups. Children from such populations gain self-esteem by seeing themselves represented in books, and mainstream children begin to appreciate others from culturally diverse backgrounds. Literature improves reading ability and attitudes and helps establish career concepts. Reading literature gives us a new way of thinking about the world.
